Woods' career started with Cross Products, which created the industry standard development tools at the time, where he went on to become MD (CEO) of the company, which was acquired by SEGA of America in 1995. In 1997 he moved to Dundee to join DMA Design where he stayed for 3 years as Development Manager and then Development Director working on Grand Theft Auto, GTA2 and the start of GTA3 as well as a number of other games. Woods spent 2 years at Codemasters, as Executive Producer on Colin McRae Rally, and then moved to SEGA Europe where he spent 11 years, eventually becoming Director of Development Services. Most recently he joined Sumo In October 2017 as Senior Development Director.
